Always select 6 items covering : Parity (Nullipara or Multipara); PreviousCS (Yes one or more or No); Onsetof labour (Spontaneous,Induced,No labour pre-labourCS); Numberof fetuses (Singleton or Multiple); Gestational age (Preterm less than 37 weeks or Term 37 weeks or more); Fetal lie and presentation (Cephalic, Breech or Transverse).
1. If you select "MULTIPLE" select all 5 variables ending with "_ any" (NB - ALL "_any" variables are around "MULTIPLE" ONLY NOT ELSEWHERE)
2. If you select "OBLIQUE OR TRANSVERSE LIE" a. select all 5 variables ending with "_ any" b. Avoding contradictions ie deselect "prsentation any" c. Avoiding violation of rule number 1 - multiple cannot be selected as it violates Rule number 1 therefore select singleton
3. If you select "POG LESS THAN 37" a. select all 5 variables ending with "_ any" b. Avoding contradictions ie deselect "POG any" c. Avoiding violation of rule number 1 - multiple cannot be selected as it violates Rule number 1 therefore select singleton d. Avoiding violation of rule number 2 - O/T lie cannot be selected as it violates Rule number 2 therefore select cephalic
4. If you select "BREECH" - it is very easy to select other required variables. Follow the "SELECTION PATTERNS" a. In 1st breech select the first 3 items and select 3 items starting with "breech" b. In 2nd breech start as with 1st breech c. Then deselect both nullipara items selecting multipara and from caesar variables select "CS any"
